Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Hashipost. Please read them carefully — they contain important information about your rights, obligations, and our liability.

Note: This document is intended to be legally informative but is not a substitute for legal advice. If you are building on top of Hashipost, you should consult with your own counsel.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Hashipost(the "Service"), creating an account, or clicking "I agree," you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. In that case, "you" refers to both you and the organization.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA) to create an account.

Description of Service

Hashipost is a social media scheduling and publishing platform that allows you to:

Connect multiple social media accounts (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) under organized profiles.
Compose posts — including short-form videos, images, captions, and hashtags — in a single composer.
Schedule posts for future publication and manage a content calendar.
View publication history, including the status of each platform's delivery and any errors.
Manage multiple brand profiles, each with its own set of connected social accounts.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.

Accounts & Profiles

Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Profiles

Within your account you can create named Profiles (e.g., a brand or business identity). Each Profile acts as an independent container for connected social accounts and scheduled posts. Profiles are not transferable between separate Hashipost accounts.

Account security

You must notify us immediately at legal@hashipost.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

One account per user

Each person may create only one Hashipost account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent tier limits or other restrictions is prohibited and may result in termination of all associated accounts.

Connected Social Accounts

The Service allows you to connect your YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok accounts via OAuth 2.0. By connecting an account, you authorize Hashipost to publish content to that account on your behalf, strictly according to your instructions.

Your responsibility

You must own or have explicit authorization to use any social media account you connect.
You are responsible for ensuring that all content you publish through the Service complies with the terms of service, community guidelines, and applicable laws of each social platform.
A given social media account (identified by its unique platform ID) may only be connected to one Profile within the Service. You cannot connect the same account to two Profiles, even within the same Hashipost account.
You must not connect accounts belonging to third parties without their explicit written consent.

Token storage and revocation

We store the OAuth access and refresh tokens issued by each platform in encrypted form. You may disconnect any account at any time, which immediately revokes our access and deletes the stored tokens.

No guarantee of publication

Social platforms may change their APIs, rate limits, content policies, or availability without notice. Hashipost does not guarantee that scheduled posts will be published successfully to any platform.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

Upload, schedule, or publish content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing, or that infringes any third-party rights.
Publish spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or deceptive content.
Use the Service to violate the terms of service or community guidelines of YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or any other platform.
Upload malware, viruses, or any code designed to interfere with the Service or any user's systems.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' accounts.
Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or interact with the Service beyond the intended functionality.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without our express written permission.
Create multiple accounts to circumvent tier limits or any other restriction.
Impersonate any person, brand, or organization.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, with or without notice.

Your Content

Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service ("Your Content"), including captions, images, and videos. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights from you to us.

License to us

By uploading Your Content, you grant Hashipost a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This license terminates when you delete the content or close your account.

Your representations

You own or have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to upload and publish Your Content.
Your Content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party.
Your Content complies with all applicable laws and the platform-specific policies of YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
You have obtained all necessary consents from individuals who appear in Your Content.

Content removal

We reserve the right — but have no obligation — to review, remove, or disable access to Your Content if we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, applicable law, or any platform's policies.

Subscriptions & Billing

Prices are in USD and exclusive of applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

Billing cycle

Paid plans are billed monthly on the anniversary of your subscription date. All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then. We do not prorate refunds for partial billing periods.

Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, contact us at legal@hashipost.com within 14 days of the charge.

Downgrade

If you downgrade to a lower tier, you retain all currently connected accounts but cannot add new ones until your count falls within the new tier's limit. No accounts are automatically disconnected on a downgrade.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, we will notify you and attempt to retry the charge. Accounts with persistent unpaid balances may be downgraded or terminated.

Third-Party Platforms

The Service depends on APIs provided by third-party platforms (YouTube / Google, Instagram / Meta, TikTok). Your use of the Service is subject not only to these Terms but also to the terms of service and policies of those platforms:

We are not responsible for the actions, content, privacy practices, or availability of these third-party platforms.

Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service — including the software, design, trademarks, logos, and documentation — are and remain the exclusive property of Hashipost and its licensors.

You must not use the Hashipost name, logo, or branding in any manner that suggests endorsement or affiliation without our prior written consent.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Any scheduled post will be successfully published to the intended social platform.
The Service will be compatible with any particular third-party platform at any given time.
Any errors or defects will be corrected.

Some jurisdictions do not allow disclaimer of implied warranties, so the above may not apply to you in full.

Limitation of Liability

Important — please read carefully

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HASHIPOST AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hashipost and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms.
Your Content — including any claim that Your Content infringes any third-party rights.
Your violation of any applicable law or third-party platform policy.
Any content you publish through the Service that causes harm to any third party.

Termination

By you

You may delete your account at any time from the account settings page. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

By us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if:

You violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use policy.
We reasonably believe your account is being used fraudulently or for illegal purposes.
Your account has remained inactive for more than 12 months on a Free plan.
We are required to do so by law or a binding order.

Effect of termination

Upon termination, all licenses granted to you cease immediately. Clauses that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.
